Best weapons: what the tier lists agree on
We don't publish our own tier list, because we can't verify damage numbers. Here is where launch-week guides overlap:
- Jagged Steel is rated S tier by KeenGamer and recommended for the early game: it builds bleed fast.Guide It is also one of the first weapons most players use: 79% have inflicted Blood Loss with it.Official
- White Serpent & Crimson Viper, Fiend Saws, Freezing Chaos and Parting Hooks make up the rest of KeenGamer's S tier. Wild Oriole Sword is A tier.Guide
- Soft Snake Sword and Parting Hooks are the defensive picks for hard bosses. The Soft Snake Sword's Serpentine Reversal deflects attacks.GuideOfficial
- Beebom lists Fiend Saws as coming from the Village of Lu and Freezing Chaos from Mirage Estate.Guide
Respec is cheap. Reverting a weapon at a Bell refunds all the materials and Remnant Dust you spent, so trying a new weapon costs nothing in the long run.Guide
