How many endings Phantom Blade Zero has, the True Ending checklist without story spoilers, the deadline that locks it out, and what is confirmed about New Game Plus.

## How many endings?

- Normal ending: you get it if you don't complete every True Ending step. [Guide]
- True / perfect ending: unlocks the achievement “With Heart and Blood” (“All Comes to Light”). [Official]
- Before launch, reports said there would be eight outcomes. Launch guides document two, and Game Informer only says “multiple endings”. [Press] We'll update this page if more turn up.

## True Ending checklist

From Game Informer's guide (October 28, 2026). The steps can be done in any order, but all of them must be done before the “last chance to get things done” warning. [Press]

- Crystal Puppet Eye [Yin]Complete the optional Mountain of Imprisonment region.
- Crystal Puppet Eye [Yang]Defeat the hidden boss in Crimson Manor.
- Four Acolyte masksDefeat all four Acolytes: Yanru's Blazing Mask, Leiting's Thunder Mask, Guhe's Venom Mask, Hansui's Frost Mask.
- Meigu Lake mirror realmWith all four masks, enter the mirror and beat its chapter-ending boss, then place both Crystal Puppet Eyes in the statue.
- Five Long PillarsComplete all five. The fifth is in the finale area.
- Three serpent itemsWhite Serpent Eye, Black Serpent Fang, Red Serpent Tongue.
- Quick Hand Zhang's RelicsFind them all. His quest shows as complete when you have.
- Finish the gameThe perfect ending, “The Final Battle”, follows.
PowerPyx adds that every purple-icon tale in your journal counts toward the True Ending. **Q: How many endings does Phantom Blade Zero have?**
Launch guides document two you can reach: the Normal ending and the True (or “perfect”) ending. Game Informer says the game has “multiple endings”; pre-release reports of eight outcomes are not confirmed by any launch guide we trust.

**Q: How do you get the True Ending in Phantom Blade Zero?**
Before the “last chance” warning near the finale: get both Crystal Puppet Eyes (Yin and Yang), beat the four Acolytes for their masks, clear the Meigu Lake mirror realm, finish all five Long Pillars, collect the three serpent items and all of Quick Hand Zhang’s Relics — then beat the game.

**Q: Is the True Ending missable?**
Only through the deadline: once you pass the finale’s “last chance” warning, you can no longer finish the requirements in that run.

**Q: Does Phantom Blade Zero have New Game Plus?**
Yes, New Game Plus exists. Finishing the game also unlocks the 66 Days challenge mode, which must be chosen when starting a new game.
